- Fast and efficient, the DYMO 450 Turbo is a cost-effective printer for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and schools that do a lot of printing. Make 1 or 1,001 shipping and return address labels with ease there’s no minimum, maximum, or paper and ink waste. The black Turbo LabelWriter is 5-by-7.36-by-5.27 inches and only weighs 2.5 pounds, making it small and easy to transport. Requiring only two cables, a power cord, and a USB that connects the device to the Windows or Apple computer, it’s an easy tool to bring to conferences and similar events. Use these LabelWriter printers with any compatible Mac or Windows laptop computer to personalize the attendees’ name tags as they enter the room. The 450 Turbo prints up to 71 standard four-line address labels with a maximum number of 99 characters on each line per minute and it doesn’t use ink or toner. Instead, it uses thermal printing technology to make clear, 600-by-300 dpi resolution prints. Use the repeat feature for up to 99 copies. With the DYMO Label software, customize stickers to organize file folders, create name badges for upcoming events, or design sticky tags to identify cubicles in a kindergarten classroom. The printer comes with an Address Labels Starter Roll and DYMO Stamps Starter Roll. Skip the visit to the post office and use the Stamp Roll service through Endicia, a licensed postage stamp supplier for the USPS that works with DYMO without any additional charges or monthly subscription fees. It’s simple to load the easy-peel, split-back D1 label rolls into the printer with an automatic feeder and an integrated cutter to cut each label. The software enables you to print directly from any desktop or laptop computer running on a Mac OSX v10.8 or Windows 7 or later operating systems to the DYMO LabelWriter. Along with printing features that the software provides, it also allows you to print on the LabelWriter 450 Turbo from other software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks, and other programs. Print addresses directly from the address books from these programs and use the Quick Print Widget to create a single label for a new client file without launching the full program each time. If you aren’t sure the address is correct, the DYMO LabelWriter 450 includes Address Fixer software that uses an Internet connection to verify U.S. addresses. Use the 42 templates to create fancy, contemporary, vintage, and other designs to add borders or change the fonts before printing labels, badges, stickers, and stamps or keep it simple with block fonts that are easy to see. These are ideal for organizing files and any other type of item, such as cleaning, painting, and cooking supplies at home, school, or in the office. The print options include sequencing, text framing, and underlining.
